Now click "Install" (check the image in step 5, to make sure all the settings are correct), it won't take but a moment and a bunch of notifications will pop up on the bottom right window. Open the "Choose DualShock 3 controllers to install" list, scroll down until you find your PLAYSTATION(R)3 Controller, tick the box and leave everything else unchecked (otherwise you will overwrite your drivers of your USB devices, this is probably how you broke all your other devices before.) You can leave "Force Driver Installation" unticked, I would only use it if for whatever reason it fails to install the drivers. Untick "Install DualShock 4 driver", assuming you don't have a DS4.
Leave "Install DualShock 3 driver" ticked. Untick "Intall Bluetooth driver", assuming you just want to use a wired connection ( PLEASE NOTE: if you want to use bluetooth it will require you to sacrifice a bluetooth dongle that will only connect to DualShock controllers as it will replace the drivers with DS compatible ones, this means if you are using the dongle for something else it will stop working afterwards.)

Plug in your DS3 controller, Windows will recognise it as a PLAYSTATION(R)3 Controller, which is not functional. Make sure you install from this source instead of the original. The original author has stopped working on the project but it was continued by Nefarius.
